VdGS-NE Spring Workshop 2019

The VdGS-NE Spring 2019 workshop: Comme femme discomfortée: a fifteenth century song goes viral, took place at Trinity Church in Concord on April 27, 2019 and Wendy Gillespie is the Music Director.

This workshop focuses on 15th and 16th century music based on the hit tune Comme femme discomfortée. Participants will explore sublime polyphony based on this song in 3-6 parts by composers such as Josquin, Isaac, Senfl, and Agricola. Coaches in addition to Wendy will include Jane Hershey, Sarah Mead, Alice Robbins, and Emily Walhout. Singers are welcome to enroll. As usual there will be two levels of beginners class offered if there is sufficient interest. The registration deadline is March 31. Late applicants will be accommodated if space allows.
