Though we charge a small fee for many of our programs, we rarely break even with our expenses, so we rely on donations in order to continue to thrive as an organization.

Please support our programs and spread the joy of music for viols! Your donations are tax deductible. Donations of any amount are welcome.

The Davidson fund, formed in 2017, honors the memory of founding members of the VdGS-NE Martha and Hannah Davidson. It was formed to provide more generous scholarships for our workshops and to subsidize viol rentals for aspiring players in the New Area. Through this fund, university students can attend our workshops for free, with further scholarships for non students available on request. The Davidson fund also subsidizes the full price of a three month viol rental from the Powers Music School in Belmont, MA. If you wish to support either of these programs, please specify the Davidson Fund as the destination fund for your donation.

You may donate electronically through PayPal or by mailing us a check using the “offline donation” selection. Please indicate if you would like the donation to go to a special fund (Davidson Fund, Silbiger Grant, green fund) in the comment field or on the memo line of your check.
