2021-2022 Silbiger Grant now accepting applications
Applications are now open for the 2021-2022 Silbiger Grant. Due to the ongoing pandemic there will be a few changes for this year to increase applicants’s flexibility.
Firstly there will be a longer application timeline: Applications must be received by September 30, 2021 and applicants will be notified by October 31, 2021. The performance still must take place by the following August; in this case the performance must take place by August 31, 2022.
Secondly, this year the grant can also be used to fund fully online or hybrid performances in addition to those presented entirely in person. If there is a video component to your performance, all information about personnel and program should be provided a month before the event appears on line, including information on when and how the link for the performance will be provided, according to the publicity guidelines of the Grant. The premiere of the video must be well-publicized to our membership and available for viewing after the premiere for at least three months. After the three months have passed, the video may be made available to other organizations, with acknowledgement of the VdGS-NE’s Silbiger Grant included in any accompanying program info.
